Tandem Education was founded by a principal who's conducted hundreds of teacher evaluations, an instructional coach who's helped teachers turn feedback into real growth, and a technology leader with 20+ years of EdTech experience. We didn't study the evaluation problem from the outside—we've sat in those classrooms, written those reports, and had those difficult conversations.
And we've been on the other side, too. Our co-founder Sarah, a 22-year educator and instructional coach, spent years as a proficient teacher who rarely received feedback that moved her practice.
